This model has been the one thing that has really helped me stick to new habits over the last 8 years or so and has also helped so many women I’ve worked with, who like you, need some extra motivation to make daily changes.
Here’s how it works:
The 1 Daily Habit Model means doing ONE thing every day.
Try ONE of these things every day- mix and match as best you can. Later on, you can add NEW One Day Habits to suit all areas of your life….
- Drink 1.5-2L of water per day
- No junk food at all that day – set a personal challenge.
- Take a lunch time walk
- Lift ONE set of weights for just your upper body
- No TV – read, meditate, walk or exercise instead
- Sleep 7-8 hours – so go to bed early!
- Have an internet free day (or weekend ideally)
- Eat vegetables at EVERY meal
Please don’t underestimate the power of this simple suggestion.
The above are just some examples of how you can set DAILY challenges to do something positive for yourself….1 Daily Habit at a time!
Once you get going, trust me, it gets harder to stop! Before you know it, you have a new habit…
